About Framelock Structures

Framelock Structure Pty Ltd is the brainchild of local Darwin innovator Colin West and Darwin structural engineer Peter Russell. Framelock Structure is at the forefront of a revolution in the building industry as the design is believed to be the strongest, public temporary structure in the world.
 

Features:

  • Withstand the pressures of a Category 4 cyclone

  • The walls are solid and fitted with detachable windows

  • Inflatable roof has been specially designed to cope with heavy rainfall

  • Manufactured to Australian design rules by Roder HTS Höcker in Germany

  • The structures can cope with internal pressures of between 800 to 1200 Pascals

  • The venting system is automatically triggered when air pressure reaches a certain level during a cyclone

  • The temporary structures can be built for one third of the cost to build a permanent structure of the same dimensions

  • It can be completely taken down and removed, leaving the site relatively the same

  • Certified to meet the building code of Australia

  • Structures are tailored specifically based on the clients brief
